Oh, you know who's really kinda creepy? Derrick Baskin. I adore him, too, but he always looks like he's going to rip your face off and leave lipstick kisses on the corpse.

I remember reading how Jonathan Larson was concerned about casting Adam Pascal because he sang with his eyes shut, and that they had to train him to keep them open while singing.

Haha, I always found the picture of Idina Menzel singing "Defying Gravity" a bit odd looking. Not as bad as this ^ though.

He's supposed to be drunk - and in jail. You can't see it in the pics but he's got a bottle of taquila he's swinging around and he can't talk or walk very well either. It's actually a very funny bit.

The bit was filmed shortly after Mel's arrest and I think they thought it might be a little too 'close to home' so they cut it from the final film. Then on second thought, they added it back in during the credits. This is a small clip:
