re: Welcome GLORY DAYS

From the press I can't get a good idea of what this is about.
I know 4 friends age 20 or so, but what actually happens?

re: Welcome GLORY DAYS

I have no clue.

Haha...I'm going in completely blind.

re: Welcome GLORY DAYS

I haven't read up much about the show, but I think it's..4 friends being home after freshman year of college..and how they've grown apart in just one year.

I have a ticket for May 1st, but I might fly out to the west coast on April 30th, so I might not be able to make it.

I am going on Sunday May 4 (in the middle of my 12 show visit to NYC and Washington!) - can't wait!I listened to the songs on the show's myspace and they sound great.

re: Welcome GLORY DAYS

I'm excited to hear back from people. I'm curious to know how much the show has physically changed since DC, since it seemed to be a very "tiny" show.

re: Welcome GLORY DAYS

I'm seeing it on Sunday, May 11th. It will be the last show I see prior to the Tonys. I'm looking forward to it even though I'm not that familiar with it. It sounds promising from what I've read though.

I really know nothing about this show but I'm really looking forward to seeing it.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

re: Welcome GLORY DAYS

I should also mention I know nothing about this show. I haven't listened to a note of the score, and only know that it's about 4 guys meeting up a year after high school graduation.

I'm intrigued, to say the least.

I'm going tonight too, looking forward to it!

Adam, I'll be there as well. We must say hi and finally meet.

Liotte, it'll be great to see you. It's been a while!

Re: "What's it about?"

From what I gather, it's about 4 18, 19 yr. old guys returning to their old high school high school - and remembering old times, and coming to understand how much they've changed since graduation, or something? Sounds okay to me, I guess. LoL

How much could they have possibly changed in one year?

I'm curious to hear reports from tonight's preview!

re: Welcome GLORY DAYS

Cape - that's what I thought. 1 year? please. try 20 years.

anyway... hopefully they made some improvements to the music since it's DC run. the book is lovely but the score is not. in my humble opinion.

good luck to Steven Booth. so cute and fresh and talented!
