Amazing video!
*wave to Anthony* I know you're here...
um. *eyes pop out*
Okay. I love Adam. I love Raúl. I have no problem with sexual ambiguity.
But that icon? Bad taste, dear.
edit: And like magic, poof! Thanks.
I've begun a collection on my computer of tasteless-yet-funny LJ/Broadway icons. Sometimes, I take pleasure in laughing at the strange things people do. And post publically. No, I don't have too much free time.
Yeah, I can't understand the "he's not wearing the right hat!" type of people.
I just want the movie to work as a movie. I don't really care if everything is necessarily exactly how it was in the stage show. Although, obviously there are certain things that we all hate to see go or be changed.
"His hat is tipped ten degrees in the wrong direction! I can't watch this movie. It's RUINED!!"

I totally agree. And that's why I'm being open about it.

Emcee--I've been saving a whole lot of icons lately on LJ. It's a lot of fun. If you watch my avatar, it will change every now and then, which is basically, everyday.
I currently have a bunch of DRS icons, but I also have a lot of others as well. (i.e. Mark icon, which I'll be putting up later.)
But there's this really funny Phantom one that I found that is animated. I'll put it up soon.
I've been seeing it change quite a lot! I saved that one. Just for my personal laughs. I also saved one that had the lyrics to Contact flashing across Adam's face. Tasteless? Totally. Funny? Oh, yes. It just amazes me what people will put out on public domain. Same way I feel about some fanfics, I guess.
People own computers, y'all! I wouldn't like it if someone was implying guesses at who I was sleeping with, and sticking it on the internet.
Anyway. Whatever. What's this one from?

Arrested Development, Em. Have you seen it? It's a hilarious show.
I have not.

You should really try and watch it! (They have seasons one and two on DVD now)
There's the Phantom icon. Funny, eh?
ha, that is cute.
Is that Phantom icon from the Phantom of the Opera in 15 minutes?

Ahahaha. Good one, Lari.
Come to think of it, I should rewatch POTO.

I just wanted to say hello to Anthony, and hope his night went well. I think your a great actor and keep doing what you are doing cause you make so many people happy. You are one of the lucky ones who enjoy their careers. Have a great night!!
Take care!
P.S. You should come to Ottawa, just cause. :)
On the whole movie front, I'm actually kind of glad that its not going to be a carbon copy of the stage show. Don't get me wrong, I love the original but I personally see this as a chance to see new interpretations of old favorites in a nutshell. I just hope it does well and I agree with Emcee in that if you're a fan of the broadway production you'll find something to like about it, probably.
It's kind of a funny thought that Anthony is still lurking but unable to post. It's like this thread is being haunted by him in a good way only he's still alive and well. Something like that. Oh I don't know, I probably just need more sleep to become semi-sane again. Anyways, hey Anthony if you happen to be reading. :-P

I'll bet you his fingers are itching to type a response and it may well be that he's getting driven nuts by not being able to. Aren't you, Anthony? :p
But then, he's also been really busy lately.
heh its a love/hate thing. We love sony for making RENT, we hate them for keeping Anthony away from us by legal force. Oh the confusion.
And just because I'm really excited right now about it, I must mention how excited I am about Joe Farrell being the new Seymour for LSoH. Came totally out of left field but he's got a very impressive and appropriate voice for Seymour and I'm very happy with their decision. I don't know much about Liz Pearce, the new Audrey though. I hope she does well. Anyone know anything about her?

I think he'll be fine. I heard him sing some on TS a while ago, and I thought he had a great voice.
I don't know much about Liz Pearce either. Tari was amazing though, as well as Anthony.
I wish this beast would come somewhere near me. I love Little Shop.
I agree, Tari and Anthony where amazing in the tour, as where Tari and Jonathan (the pair I saw in Costa Mesa). I'm sad to see them go but its very heartening to know that the new Seymour, at least, is a good pick. I heard Joe on TS too a while ago and he really does have an impressive voice. I can't wait to hear some reviews of their performances, or better yet find some pics/sound bites!
Random, but look what Amanda is pre-ordering!

I'm aware that it doesn't come out for months, but I figured why the hell not? And, I've gotten books 2-3 days early from amazon after pre-ordering. :)
*edit* I think I'm stupid because I can't make a link that doesn't kill the page. *kicks it*
