Those are definitely good rules! There should be a "stage door etiquette" book given to all theatre newbies.
eek i think im gonna go see the movie again in a few hours:]]

Maybe I'll write it. There should totally be one.
Agggggh. I'm just gonna end up sitting around on my butt all day again today. I have to babysit, that should make for some good times. /sarcasticness

TURN ON THE VIEW, PEOPLE!!!
Okay, commercial break. The cast is singing Rent on the View (it's on right now for NY/NJ people), which I'm sure you all know... not one of their better performances, but they look GREAT. Idina and Tracie are wearing dresses and whatnot, and Anthony's wearing a sweatshirt. That's just so him - I love it.

And he sent claps up to Jonathan at the end.
That always makes me smile...
I'll watch it now! Go Tivo!!
Crazy people at the mall. Gosh. So rude. And a whole jacket thing fell over and no one did anything! So I picked the entire thing up-both times.
I think we should write a book for stage door etiquette!
Edit: See that set! WOW!

Let's do it! It won't be that hard.... Elphatine's rules are a great basis!
Here are a few more:
If someone appears to be in a hurry, you can ask them to sign something, but if they ignore you or say no DON'T CHASE THEM DOWN!!!!
Don't ask one of the people signing something if another star is going to come out! It is rude, and they probably don't even know!

The View interview was great, I love watching them all interact together, there's always something funny that comes of it.

Lmfao. That was such a great interview. Sexual harrasment, hahaha. "I'm gonna start bustin' moves..." oh, Jesse. How you make me laugh. And those girls from the audience were uber-annoying. "OH EYE-DINA! WE LOVE YOU OH SO MUCH!!!1!!!!1!!!!ONEONEONE!!!!1111!!!!" "'How do you feel watching your wife kiss a woman?' 'Well, it doesn't suck...'"
*le sigh* Star Jones pisses me off to no extent. I just find her incredibly irritating. Good interview, though. They were totally swooning over Adam and Jesse. And Taye. While us here on this thread prefer to swoon over Anthony. Muahaha.

Swooning is unavoidable when it comes to the male rent cast...period!
Did anyone tape that interview? I'd love to see it again online, it made me happy.

AMENNNNN. Swooning over male Broadway stars is my whole life.
Anyway. I taped it, but I have no idea how to get it on to the computer. Check the View's website, they might have it. I know the Today show usually posts their stuff.
I'm almost done watching it.
I just came back from my 3rd trip to the theater to see Rent. I cried...again...a lot of other people did to. There were a lot of people!
Yeah, I had a feeling those two were Idina fans.

i think you mean eye-dina fans.
Idina fangirls can be annoying, but they're paying to go see the movie, so it's all good. As long as they don't open their mouths.
Did anyone else love Anthony's sweatshirt? I did for some reason.
I did too. I loved that color...and the entire thing.
And did you see I actually put in a smiley!!! I didn't mean to! I accidently found that! LOOK: OH YEAH!
I could always do:
But now it's: and
KAPOW!
I never like crazy-obsessed-believe-they-know-everything-and-that-they-are-the-best-fans fangirls. Crazy-obsessed I can handle. And if they DO know everything...it's just a tad creepy, but I still could handle it.

I love Anthony's whole wardrobe. He always looks fantastic.
I think he must try and compensate for Adam in the style department.
Anthony has style.
YOU GOT STYLE ANTHONY!

The first thing that I thought when I turned on the tv was "I LOVE THAT SWEATSHIRT!" And that the fabric looked really soft. Hah.
Yeah, the whole "Eye-dina" thing had me going "...wha?" C'mon ladies, learn to say the name right... its always a good thing to know that if/when you eventually meet the person...
As for their comments... I'm sure most of us would also say we're the biggest RENTheads ever. The question is who would win.
I think it'd be too hard to pick just one.

haha im now having to LIE to my parents to go see Rent so they dont yell at me about being too obsessed with Broadway and am wasting my money...

Yeah, if you look at my first post about the View, I was obsessing about his sweatshirt. It's my life. Yay for Anthony and his fantabulous style!
Anyway. I'm babysitting. I should probably get back to that... haha.
This first 40 seconds of this clip makes me laugh way too hard. From the lovely harbek at LJ.

I just got back from seeing the movie for the 4th time (I went 3 times opening day--got to skip school for it, it was hardcore lol =8-D) And as much as I love seeing it and sharing it with friends, I'd almost rather see it alone....I mean, it's such a personal, emotional experience for me. Anyone else feel the same way? It was amazing, though, there aren't even words...... I might post a review later if I can collect my thoughts enough, but that's not too likely.
Could Anthony possibly have looked cuter if he tried? ^^

I agree with you about seeing it alone... I went alone for the first time and it let me feel kind of "immersed" in it... I didn't feel like I had to explain stuff to other people or worry if they were enjoying it enough, I could just completely enjoy it.
I went alone the 2nd time. I sat there. It was only me. I was allowed to watch it myself and know that I was seeing it because it meant something to me. Man, what an experience.

Yeah, I can't think of another movie that I would go alone, just to experience it again.
PS--Is anyone in the Olympia-Seattle-etc area interested in going tomorrow?
