its kinda funny cause i wasnt going to go today but it wasnt sold out and i couldnt control myself, thats kinda sad. And the girl who i'm going with tomorrow ended up going to the show after me so I saw her on my way out. We obviously have no lives. Nah we do, its RENT.

haha there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with us.
luckily my dad just informed me that a)he and my mom have to go to decide if my 12 year old little budding baby renthead sister can go see it, and theyll let me come along with them and b) if and when she does go see it, i get to take her
and they think those are the only other times ill see it before the movie comes out on dvd. cackle cackle
yea..my parents dont realize i'm planning on seeing it ATLEAST two more times before this week is up. Not only do I LOVE this movie, but we need to support it! :)

exactly!!!!!! we are simply going to see it for the good of OTHER people. and for the future of movie musicals.
We shall show our love! And get to know the workers at the theaters..
What really interests me is seeing the different audiences each time I go. Is that really pathetic?

NO i did the same thing! Like who was there in the morning, who the late night showings, on the weekends, etc!
the best most responsive audience was definitely opening night. That was such an amazing movie experience, wow. Although I went today and when Jonathan Larson's name came up after about 5 seconds some people started to clap (i think people wanted to but didnt want to be the only one caue after one person went a few others clapped-- i personally made a woo--yeah jon sound..while clapping). Hehe. BTW hii anthony, you were amazing in the movie, obvsssss. LOL. (You probably don't read this thread anymore but whatever i'll say hi to you).

the most responsiveness audience for me was a late night showing on teh 23rd... i went to a morning one and i felt like i was the only one laughing and crying and shh..dancing!
i think i'll be sad when they stop being responsive. I mean I know that eventually only newbies will be going to the movie. But i'm really excited for tomororw cause i'm going with two of my friends who are OBSESSED. I mean like we talked about the movie for hours until 2 in the morning (i havent seen it with them yet though). We'll make it fun =).

The most responsive audience I've been with was the 7:10 showing on the 23rd. My mom saw it then and was so excited....She laughed, she cried she mooed. She's so excited about seeing it again--every time I see her she's like "When are you seeing RENT again? Can I come with you? I might have to see it without you because we're never free at the same time!!!"
The best receptive was the night one on opening night. That was when I was alone.
I really want an audience to start dancing in La Vie Boheme. That's my dream. It'd be really cool if it was all teenages and we did that.
Te he
So somehow I missed them on the view... *goes to cry in a dark corner*
i'll make all my friends go to the last last showing and just have the best time ever =).

I think we should rent out a theater of only people who will sing, dance and moo.

im already planning on.. a few weeks into this...going to a very late or very early show and hoping its only me and my friends so i can run around the theatre during la vie boheme!
And everyone can tango!!!!!!!! Wow. It would be really cool.
I already do the hand and head moments at the beginning of La Vie Boheme.

I love your idea, iheartmark. I wish I could keep going back to Rent, but my parents would say it was a waste of money since I already saw it. I think I'm going to take all of my friends individually so I have a reason to go back. I can say this friend hasn't seen it yet. And keep going back again and again.
Wait a minute...none of my stories have anything with Cybele walking in and neither do any of the ones from our community...
*raises eyebrows* Where are you finding these fics, Anthony?
I loved the Sirius interview, but they were so mean to our poor Anthony.
At least Adam didn't throw in a penis joke and embarass Anthony...erm, this time around...
Gotta love the waves of posts... and now, out of nowhere, there's nothing. Well, except the post I'm writing right now. I'm that person who, when a room get's quiet, screams out "It's too quiet! Someone talk!" thus breaking the awkward silence.

iheartmark: I've seen it twice by myself, and once with my mom. I wanted the first time to just be me because of how personal it is.
My mom thought it was ridiculous that I wanted to see it a second time on Wednesday, especially since there was a snowstorm, but it's so addicting! And BWW is like our support group, lol. I'm sad though because I have to go back to college on Sunday and I may not get a chance to see it again- depending on if it is playing anywhere near my school. I must get as much out of it as possible now!
