::yawn:: finally off to bed.
I liked the review. I don't suppose there's any chance of me getting the book early? Anyone? Ok, fine. Goodnight (morning).

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

heh. Yeah. I feel like such a loser for being a total net junkie. BUT, I was talking to someone recently about it, and how much I've changed from it.

The Net is mostly a good thing. I mean, we have the blog!
Anyone else watch the new entry?
*sigh* I <3 Goodbye Love.
I think that's a more thorough explanation.

I'm still quite shy in person, but I'm getting much better about it. Two years ago, if someone picked a fight with me, I'd flail and run the other way. Now, if you pick a fight with me, look out. I could dig up quite an archive of nasty, nasty stuff I've been part of on this board -- and now I'm not afraid to fight back. I don't know if that's a good thing, but at least I'm learning to stand up for myself. I've just gotten a lot better at holding my own. I think the coolest thing comes into play with the people I've met. In terms of holding my own, I've come to be able to do so in a room full of people far older than I am, because I've done something to get them to respect me. I never thought I could do that, let alone simply by playing around on a message board one lonely afternoon.
And some of the most important friendships in my life have been forged right here in cyberspace.

I think its a good thing that you have learnd to stand up for yourself
. And it's great that you changed so much because of Bww. I've also met my very best friend on the dutch variant of Bww.. so yeah i know what you mean.

That was the inside picture of the Advocate interview back in October. Only part of it was posted online, but the article in the magazine was much longer. I read it in Barnes and Noble because I was too poor to buy it.
