You know how sometimes the right song comes on at exactly the right time? Well that happened today. I was feeling really bummed about my audition (the acting part went amazingly well but i woke up with a col so ack my singing part was horrible) and I had my mp3 player on shuffle within this list of christmas and showtunes. And suddenly Help in on Thw Way from Carols For A Cure came on talking about how if you are feeling like your dream will never come true dont give up ect ect. So now i feel better!

I think it can be safely said that Adam is never a chore to look at.
caitiesus: I am now firmly convinced that I need to lay off the musicals. I read your post and wanted to start singing "I should have told them I was sick last week, they're gonna think this is the way I sing. Why is the pianist playing so loud? Should I sing louder? I'll sing louder!" .... But good luck on that, anyway. I'm sure it will be fine. <3

I loved his hair way back when. It was sort of long, but not crazy Roger long. And sort of blonde, but not Bon Jovi blonde.
I feel ridiculous for the way I bring Adam love wherever I go. I was invited by like... my school's convention of Rentheads, or whatever, to go to Tony Danza. heh.

Thank you and welcome, Anthony!
I just watched the AOL Sessions clips and LOVED the "Halloween" video - too bad it couldn't have stayed in the theatre version, though....

OK first I have to add to the awww on the picture! HE is the cutest dork ever.
Which was confirmed in my college's newspaper yesterday. I have been waiting for this issue for a week and they had a review of Rent...And gave it an A-!!!! (very big deal, same thing as Hrry Potter got!!) Wasn't a great review to read so I wont post it. Justtold a little bit fo the story mentioned how diehards didn't like some changes but it was a grerat movie all around, mentioned Jonathon, TAlked about how while all the actors were amazing, Anthony really stood out...Said that Adam's voice was perfect which I found interesting (dont get mad at me I love Adam so much and thought he sounded really really good but perfect is a little strong for me) But yay!
And Behind the Spotlight the funny thing is I almost did that song for my audition...I think I should have it would have been so freaking funny. grr to that! And dont feel like yo ulisten to musicals too much...everytime someone says the word suddenly I want to start singing..heck when someone says almost anything I have a musical to start doing (and usually do)

The review in my school's paper is SCATHING.
And, whatever, the chick who wrote it is a Renthead who's pissed off the that the movie isn't identical to the show, but that's her deal. If she doesnt like it, fine.
BUT, there are like four instances of blatant, INEXCUSABLE misinformation, and the writer putting up her ASSUMPTIONS as though they're ABSOLUTELY TRUE. It's laughable, and incredibly irritating. I mean, be professional. You could find the correct information in five minutes on Google. It's really not hard to be informed, and disliking something so much, or even a smart-ass tone is no excuse for having false information, or not being able to be bothered with finding the CORRECT information.
That just really, really irks me.

Wow...what a new idea! Schools that....like..musicals? I've never had that before! Though I'm still in high school, so I guess thats a factor. Someone asked me what I was listening to once, and I said Rent, and they said they'd never heard of that band.
I think my sould died a little that day.
Oh and of course the next day my choir instructor suggests doing Seasons of Love and they're all over it. *anngerrr*
Oh and I'm too addicted to musicals too. On the "Fresh Prince of Bell Air" the other night there was one character named Mimi, and Carlton comes up to the table in a deep voice and all he had to say was "Mimi..." and I started singing "I'm suprised..a bright and charming girl like you hangs out with these slackers..."
And if someone says "hey, whats the time?"
They...don't get a response until AFTER Out Tonight.

Maybe you should write a letter to the editor with your opinions? That would be a good idea to get people to acknowledge that she was wrong in part of her review with her assumptions. A suggestion.

Some magazine I was just flipping through gave Rent 4 stars, and mentioned Anthony and one stars of the movie. I'm happy.

I thought about it, but being that it's already published, I have to wonder if it's worth creating enemies out of fellow staff members over. Like, if I had somehow seen the review before publication and could've corrected her, that'd be one thing, but... I suppose it doesn't quite matter. :-/
