Le sigh. Damn not having money to go the anniversary concert!!
Mmmmm. I do love me some Will Chase. And he was fantastic in Lennon (which I loved, no matter what anyone says...

RENTingFAME: Well, I had only seen the movie and heard the original cast recordings, so I yearn for the OBC, because those are the people I've really only heard, so y'know.
xM3L24x: Pfft, definitely no Adam Pascal. So let's admire him from my avatar, shall we?

AHA!
We should all put together our money to get tickets for ourselves to go see the OBC show. :)
I've got about....$600-$800 dollars. I forget exactly how much. =-O
And we could earn more by.....selling lemonade!

i know, but $1,000 is a lot, im sure i even have that much money
and soon enough we'll have the dvd to watch the obc (besides for joanne and mimi) whenver we want, which isn't nearly the same as seeing them live but i'm sure there are going to be a lot of extra stuff on the dvd that'll be good
just trying to stay positive
and whoever said the thing about utube is probably right, i'm sure the day after it will be on this message board for all of us to see

But still, YouTube has absolutely nothing against actually being there. But hey, when the OBC show DOES premiere, we can all be dreaming about it. :)

ugh don't even talk about the OBC show =[
let's seriously round up our money and buy the best seat in the house for someone and then they have to film it for us.. even though it's not the best thing in the world, it will have to do!

My mother's birthday is April 9, so I could get a ticket for her by asking money from her friends, give it to her, and then she'd give it to me...and then voila! :)

The only cash I have right now is being spent seeing Hairspray in January, since I heard it's closing and I want to see it before it closes. But that gives me 3 months to round up a thousand buckaroos! Ah, who the hell am I kidding?
Oh well. Bootlegs are better than nothing, I guess.

yea i was going to propose something similar
my mom's bday is april 16th and i'd say that i got her a ticket to the rent obc (she's a fan of the movie...she absolutely loved it) but then say that i don't have enough money to actally buy it, but she'll be so happy that i thought about HER that she'll lend my 1,000??
it's nice to dream
*edit* cheez...i think you're idea is a little better
