Im fifteen too and I hate it when kids do that Im not saying u cheez whiz just some ppl shouldnt go to the movies when they are going to diss it the whole time

I am guilty of talking during the movie the third time I saw it. Well, I wasn't really talking, just not making enough efforts to shut my friend up. There were only like two other people in the theater, because it was the matinee showing on a Wednesday (we'd, um, *liberated* ourselves from the school premesis), but still. And yeah, we totally danced during La Vie Boheme, much to the shame of our third friend, who is not a renthead by any means.

i'm 15 as well. the first few times i saw it i wouldn't say a word or even sing along, because i wanted to just totally listen to the movie, but then later i loosened up a bit since i had seen it a few times. last time i went was with my best friend, another renthead, and we would mention a word or two that would send us into fits of laughter because of funny memories about rent or the cast or something.

there's a balance between being obnoxious and having a good time. unfortunately most teens don't know where that balance is. :/ We try! we really do! I think...

hahah and i thought i was the youngest one here. i'm sixteen ;]

okay and i heard (but you should never go by what i hear because it's usually wrongwrongwrong) that the original cast is getting back together in april? but tickets start at like $1,000

i'd pay good money to see the original cast, though hahah

Here's to hoping. Because I sure don't have that kind of money to spend on RENT. And living up here in Boston doesn't help, either. Especially when you don't have a license or a car to go to NYC in.

i haven't seen rent on broadway (but i'm dying to) and this just kinda killed it. seriously.

Good lord. I think my dad is taking me to Paris for my 16th bday to see (his obsession, a band I like but don't worship) Pearl Jam... I would love to go to Paris, but I would also love to see the OBC anniversary concert. *ponders*

$10.75? Ouchies. Ours are usually $9, unless it's a matinee or a Tuesday night, or something... but my mom paid for half my times (I went a couple times with her), so it's okay.

I is almost 15! Stupid bimbos at the movie theaters. I heard so many people "EWWWWW" and "BOOO" and carry on during I'll Cover You, which is (obviously) outrageously obnoxious, arrogant and flat out rude. You never know who could be sitting in the same theater as you, right?

Yes, I've seen it. The first 50 minutes only, though.
And yes, the pole in the way did suck, so was the cameraman's work, but it's a bootleg, so you can't ask for much.
I still want to see it on Broadway though, just for the experience. One day I hope to be performing it, if it lasts long enough. :)

i think i watched 5 seconds of that and compeltely disregarded it

i haven't seen rent on broadway either but i'm going in feb., and i just thought about the fact that everyone raves about it, obviosuly a bootleg isn't going to do the show ANY justice what so ever

is the cast going to be the same because i heard someone else was going to play roger

and forget it about the friends thing...there was an episode where chandler thought monica got him porn for valentine's day, so he popped it in and it was a video of phoebe being born, after that chandler couldn't get the image out of his head

I would disregard that as well. Don't pay any attention to that bootleg behind the... pole.

I'm seeing Rent for the 3rd time the day after my birthday in the middle of January. No bootleg will ever do it any justice, of course... when you do see it though, you'll love it. It's fantastic. It's one of the only shows I've ever seen where I felt... alive - electric, almost (no pun intended. )... it's hard to explain. But I'm sure you get it, haha.

Edit: January 18th for me! Will Chase will be playing Roger, he's in until the end of the month... I think... feel free to clarify, anyone!

It wasn't of Phoebe being born- it was of her friends' baby being born. It was so Rachel (who was pregnant at the time) could see what was happening.

Does anyone have any further info on the 10th anniversary? Because it's possible that I could go! WHOO-HOO!
