Or cheap hotels to stay at? Any links?
Please post them here or PM me, I am thinking about going to the UK for a week, thanks so much!
When Babs is there?
I know some places in Earl's Court.
What is Earl's Court?
No, Im not going for Babs.
I could have seen her in Fort Lauderdale if I wanted to.
Not like I have anything against her, but no way I'd travel overseas to see a concert I could have seen 20 minutes away from my home.
Earls Court is a neighborhood in London, west, I believe, of the center.
Please check the link below. They have listings for hotels and also for B&B's

I've always had good luck finding something at:

There are a lot of exciting things going on in the West End right now, so it's a very good time to be there!
Urgh hostels suck here in the UK
Depending on what you want to spend look at booking a travel lodge in advance you can get them very cheap

The Generator is a really funky, nice hostel that I stayed at years ago. Very safe, clean. It's over by the British Museum. It has reasonable rates, internet access in the lobby, breakfast. It was about $50 a night from what I recall.
I don't know the web address but you can google it. It's really great. (If I go for vacation next spring, I'm staying there. I loved it.)
The first time I went I stayed somewhere near Hyde Park. The second time I went I stayed at a cheap place in Earls Court. I forget the exact name of it. Something with king in the title. It's just a short walk to the tube and then a short ride to Leiscester (that's gotta be spelled wrong) Square.
edit: I'll post the names of the places as soon as I can.

There is a strip of inexpensive hotels along Gower Street near UCL that are walkable from Soho, Covent Garden, and Leicester Square. Beats the night buses after the tube shuts down...
