The beauty of seeing early previews! I love "My Crazy Heart," but I think it benefits from knowing the characters and their stories, whereas "Madrid" works as a high energy introduction to the frenetic world of Women on the Verge.

Truly one of the worst and most forgettable scores to ever be on broadway.

I was one of the first fans and supporters of the show and score on this board. I was hooked from the moment I heard the opening chords of the Overture at a first week preview, I knew it was going to be such a special score. It was a joy to watch theater fans and critics come around to the score once the cast recording was released, around the same time David Yazbek received his third Tony nomination, knocking Marc Shaiman's score for Catch Me If You Can out of the category.

Who needs another recording when you have one with Patti and Laura?

My Crazy Heart alone is worth it, but new orchestrations, new cast, new material and material omitted from the OBC are more than enough reasons to warrant a copy of the OLC. Not to mention that it's beautifully produced.
