Hey you guys -
I was looking through the New York Times theater directory for today (5/14) and I saw that West Side Story was not listed. Is there any reason that this would occur?

Because today's Thursday.
Or at least that's what I've heard- that WSS is only paying for placement in the Friday (weekend arts) and Sunday editions of the Times, and not paying for daily placement.

Posted: 5/14/09 at 2:13pmI guess they feel they don't need to advertise as much right now, since the show is selling out eight performances a week (and it will be a crime when it loses best revival to HAIR).
