What 'pop' star would you most like to see transfer ?- Page 2

I agree about Mya. And Clay for that matter (maybe even a Mark?). Call me crazy, but I can see Queen Latifa playing Joanne...she has a really good voice for that part. I can also see Christina somewhere...not to be repetitive, but I can see her as Maureen. Of course, these are all mostly based on their voices...I'm not quite sure how any of the act accept for Queen. But I can just here Christina singing "We've got ta got ta got ta got ta got ta got ta got ta got ta (etc.) find a way! To jump over the moon.."

ive always thought so too, rentaholic. if they did a movie i wouldnt be against casting her. but that is another thread altogether...

id like to see a carmen jones revival with beyonce, i happen to think she is very talented and not an altogther terrible actress either. with a little work, who knows? Updated On: 3/24/04 at 06:01 PM

Clay Aiken as either Seymour in "Little Shop", Willard in "Footloose", or Jimmy in "Thoroughly Modern Millie".

I'll tell you what needs to happen on this "Broadway" stage of yours. I mean if you want the real sell out ish, and some major rockin on the sometimes not-so-enthralling stage, I'm gonna go ahead and say you need Jack Black and Kyle Glass of Tenacious D. Now I know theyre not so much pop stars as total super geniuses of the universe, but their sheer presence would definately roack your pantalones off the tower!!!

Elphaba in Wicked??? (I guess I picture her as an Idina-type)
