July 4th: Gypsy
July 5th Mat: Damn Yankees? (If I get Tickets)
July 5th Night: In The Heights (AGAIN! YAY!)
July 6th Mat: Try Lotto (Wicked?) If not TKTS
And yes that will be my last thread for today.

Great shows!
One thing: Wicked will not be on TKTS. If you lose lotto, you should have a backup show.

Posted: 4/13/08 at 3:16pmI mean Lotto for Wicked if I don't win than I will pick somthing randomly on TKTS.

I love it when you're in line at TKTS and somebody asks for Wicked. Good times.

Posted: 4/13/08 at 4:07pmI would suggest that if you don't win the Wicked lottery you should try and get tickets for August. It really is an amazing show and you can get tickets for like $28. Have fun and enjoy your shows!

IMO- if youve seen WICKED already... try something else...
Your line up is already pretty good... dont mess it up with WICKED! (just kiddin')
go for PASSING STRANGE.
ADDING MACHINE (try an OFF-BROADWAY show)
or
AUGUST : OSAGE COUNTY ( see a play!)
just my advise, okay? nothing against WICKED!

Also I have seen Passing Strange (It was Good) I'm not that into rock. I don't want to see a play though.

I think you should see it for yourself. I am "friend-s" with the composer- Nick Blaemire and I am going to meet him when I see the show...so I cant really comment without sounding like a shill!
But I heard a lot of good things about GLORY DAYS... I wont be suprised, if it snug the 4th nod on BEST NEW MUSICAL along with XANADU, PASSING STRANGE & IN THE HEIGHTS.
If you wanna hear some of the songs from the demo....You know what to do!

Posted: 4/13/08 at 8:08pmA Chorus Line will actually be playing two shows on Sundays by then(1:30 & 6:30). You could see a show at 2:00(SITPWG??) & ACL at 6:30.

I don't want to see a play though.
That's pretty closed minded. Whatever, your loss. "August" was one of the most thrilling things I've ever seen on a New York stage, certainly more thrilling than "In the Heights" or "Wicked".

if she doesn't want to see a play that's her opinion, it doesn't make her closed minded... at all.
That's like me saying you're closed minded for thinking she should want to, which would obviously be ridiculous.
Anyway the lineup sounds good especially because in the heights is in it
I don't know what other shows you have or havent seen or what your taste is but legally blonde or xanadu are fun choices as well.

It's closed minded in the same way it's closed minded when someone says, "I don't want to see an Off-Broadway show."
I think to automatically dismiss something as lauded, honored, and well, entertaining as "August" simply because it is **gasp** A PLAY!!! is closed-minded.
