Hey Magruder, :)
POCKETFUL OF MIRACLES would make a WONDERFUL musical. Would you keep Depression Setting, or update it?
Who do you see as Apple Annie?
When did Jerry Herman pass this one up?

Lansbury for Apple Annie for her last great Broadway musical role, and I think the Depression setting would need to be retained.
I think Herman felt that it wasn't challenging enough for him.

Hi Musetta... :)
Thanks for the info on STAR WARS: THE MUSICAL.
Hmmm... music by Charles Strouse?
I guess he got tired writing about orphans and their dogs!

of course thats one of the single funniest moments in the entire movie. i actually heard that Mel Brooks is going to bring this to broadway after he puts the producers and the spaceballs sequel out. i think. i heard it before i heard about spaceballs but i assume that he pushed it back

If it stuck more closely to the book and used both storylines, I think Stephen King's Misery could be a fantastic musical.

It would need some work, but CASINO ROYALE could be a true howler.
