The Broadway grosses don't look good enough to sustain several shows...
Limited runs will be ending...
What are the next shows to open?
Can you take a stab at naming the Broadway Theatre for the show?

I'm more trying to gather and collect the shows than forgetting them, i*heart*fame.
I can't wait to see this Zhivago which is said to be coming to Broadway and is now at La Jolla Playhouse:

Matt Bogart is in it, replacing Jason Daniely. His brother Dominic is also in the cast I see. Matt's got quite the voice. Maybe he'll get a nice lead on an OBC recording in this show.

Wasnt Grey Gardens supposed to transfer in the fall to broadway?

Don't count on ever seeing Jerry Springer or Zanna on a Broadway stage.
Jay Johnson is going into the Helen Hayes once Sarah Jones leaves.
I take it After Miss Julie is off altogether. It was "postponed" from MTC's current season and it isn't listed on their 2006-2007 season.

I don't think Zanna would do well on Broadway, but I wish it would come back. It's a great little show. And I'm not sure Princesses as much of a future either.
Also, isn't Sister Act coming next season?
Grey Gardens will be coming in the fall, and since they have everything set except for the set, which they will have to enlarge for a new stage, they should be shopping around for theaters very soon.

And what of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's
The Pirate Queen
whose Broadway Opening is planned for 2006-2007 Season?

The Pirate Queen and Tale of Two Cities will both need fairly large theaters. I think Tale will take the Hilton, and maybe Pirate Queen will grab the Palace?

Come on TALE OF TWO CITIES... bring Cheyenne back... to Broadway.
From what I hear, Legally Blonde is hovering over the Palace. I wouldnt be suprised if it ended up there.

if either TALE or BLONDE take the Palace, where will THE PAJAMA GAME go?
wow, so many shows...so little theatres
It's strange because the American Airline theatre where Pajama Game currently is happens to be a smaller sized theatre for Broadway standards, with about 750 seats. However, I would guess that with a commercial tranfer they would want a large theater to try and make more money. I have no clue what they are looking at right now, but now that you say it, I think the Palace would be a great home for Pajama Game.

Would Studio 54 work for The Pajama Game next fall?
Broadway Legend Joined: 4/5/04
No, Roundabout already has two shows booked for Studio 54 for next season.

The Laura Pels for Pajama Game?
Hm...capacity only 425...

Is that a joke?
There are two shows booked at the Pels already, but more than that, a show the size of Pajama Game would lose MASSIVE amounts of money playing in a 400 seat off-Broadway house.

I'm not sure I understand the logic of bringing back Pajama Game without its two leading stars, particularly Connick, Jr.
The Roundabout has flat out said their profitability this year was due to him.
Who says an audience will be as loyal to other leads...

Times they are a changin' has already been announced for the Brooks Atkinson. Nederlander and Terry Allen Kramer are producing it.
What is the purpose of Les Miserables having previews?
Broadway Legend Joined: 6/20/05
New cast, so it helps them, blaxx.
And I gather it also qualifies as a revival?
I say Pajama Game at the Palace, Legally Blonde at the Barrymore, and Tale of Two Cities at the Brooks Atkinson
>I say Pajama Game at the Palace<
Too big.
>Legally Blonde at the Barrymore<
Too small.
>Tale of Two Cities at the Brooks Atkinson<
Already taken (by Times They Are a Changin')
>I say Pajama Game at the Palace<
Too big.
Isn't that the point? I thought they wanted a big theatre. It's not necessarily a good idea though.
>Legally Blonde at the Barrymore<
Too small.
True, but where else would it go?
>Tale of Two Cities at the Brooks Atkinson<
Already taken (by Times They Are a Changin')
Sorry missed this one.
There's also the Cort, the Longacre, and the Music Box. Festen won't be open too much longer.
