I saw on Twitter that Andy Karl is going to be shooting a movie ... Is he abandoning Broadway? I'd love to see him back on Broadway soon... Hedwig would obviously be my dream role for him, but ... the sky is the limit!
Does anyone know if he has upcoming Broadway plans??

It's one movie and he's not even in the starring role. He's done movie gigs before (Joyful noise in 2012, And so it goes in 2014) and gone back to Broadway. Who knows what Broadway role he will take on next but I expect him back!

I have it on good authority that he's doing the long-awaited Broadway transfer of Naked Boys (Who Aren't Really Boys Anymore) Singing, to be directed by Jerry Mitchell, and co-starring Cheyenne Jackson, Nick Adams, and, for some reason, Rob McClure.

I loved the Dallas revisal with Matt Cavenaugh. I wish the creative team would work on getting that production to Broadway maybe with a few more revisions. I can easily see Andy as Superman.
