So if any Sondheim musical was actually designed for Doyle direction, it's Night Music."
I really hope that wasn't true. I don't see how A Little Night Music could be stripped of it's gorgeous orchestrations like that. It wouldn't be nearly as wonderful.
I agree that A Little Night Music needs to be revived. It needs a talented design crew, a lush orchestra, and a magnificent Desiree.
