#2re: When does the BC/EFA drive start this year?
Posted: 10/23/07 at 11:31amIt may have started already. On Saturday afternoon, while walking on 8th avenue, I saw a person with a heavily signed Lion King poster and a few yards behind her was another person with a signed Spring Awakening poster. Those could have been the products of stage-dooring, but it was so soon after the matinees had let out that I doubt they could have gotten all of those autographs in such a short period of time.

It's a go! Brooks A was adorable at THE RITZ with his speech. I hugged Seth out in the lobby as he collected...he's so dang talented, I could eat him up.

Phantom's new item this year is a 2007 calender with photos of the ballet dancers.
Legally Blonde is also selling, though I don't know what yet, as is Mamma Mia & Spelling Bee with their usual items.
The new Carols For a Cure CD is also being sold at all shows for $20.

Xanadu had Cheyenne Jackson out in the lobby and he'd take a polaroid with you (and sign it) for only $20. They also were selling signed window cards for $50.
Avenue Q had their standard “It Sucks to Be Me” and “Everything in Life is Only for Now” buttons -- $5/piece.
Both shows were also selling the Carols for a Cure CD -- $20.

SPRING AWAKENING is selling the window card with their generic logo. However, it is the reprint with the horrible "Winner! 8 Tony Awards Including BEST MUSICAL" tag line on it.
Not really sure why they nixed the old window card, but they now sell three at the theatre that are unsigned (Generic, Full Cast, and John Gallagher, Jr. one)
