Comparing "Point of No Return" from the OBC and the film soundtrack.
I think I prefer the soundtrack on this one. Brightman makes me want to take this pen here and stick it in my eye.

The Next 10 Minutes- The Last Five Years

Some people analyze every detail/ Some people stall when they can't see the trail/ Some people freeze out of fear that they'll fail/ But I keep rollin' on/ Some people can't get success with their art/ Some people never feel love in their heart/ Some people can't tell the two things apart/ But I keep rollin' on

Who Am I?-Les Miserables Original London Cast

"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being." --Phylicia Rashad

"There are mouths to be kissed before mouths to be fed, and there's many a tryst and there's many a bed. There's a lot I'll have missed, but I'll not have been dead when I die! And a person should celebrate everything passing by."

The Pavarotti recording of La Boheme. It's BEAUTIFUL. I'm not even an "opera person" really and this show (can you call operas "shows?") just blows me away. I saw it for the first time a couple months ago. I highly recommend this recording in particular.

"Meadowlark" from The Bakers Wife, as performed by Liz Callaway. Awesome song.

There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.

The Overture into Act 2 of Ragtime

When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere
