Now with all shows being cancelled, what is everyone planning to do this weekend?
Season 2 of Mad Men, here I come!
I am making a jello mold ..... Maybe I'll get crazy and use some canned fruit cocktail :)

My Broadway plans are still on: I invited a bunch of actors over for a rum-fueled orgy.

Funny! I just bought canned fruit cocktail, Dennis!
Three bottles of alcohol, enough chocolate to choke a horse and hopefully if the electricity stays on...a Tony Awards marathon! I am in the process of transferring my VHS tapes to digital. Seeing that I will be stuck in the house with people who can't stand me, might as well find some little enjoyment in the midst of hell.
I'll be doing work for my AP Government class, as well as watching the 5th season of DEXTER...
I'm not too sad it was canceled. I already got my new tickets to MASTER CLASS for September 1st!!!
Bridal shower tomorrow afternoon. And so far a party on Sunday, although I think that might get cancelled.
All of us west coast Broadwayworlders are hoping this is over for you guys after just one short act. No encores.
I'll be evacuating.
Cracking open Finishing the Hat sounds like a good idea. And brunch tomorrow because I refuse to be shut in two days.
Waiting in the house, hoping this **** doesn't hit as hard as they say it's going to.
Just got back from Eataly where the line was outrageously long.
A close, elderly friend has taken refuge with my partner and me and so we have begun the bittersweet but feelgood task of indefinite-time entertaining. Filling the bathtub with water.
Recovering from the blast of talent discovery of Tari Kelly's Reno last night! Telling everyone I know how wonderful she was!
Planning on finishing Orhan Pamuk's amazingly beautiful mystery/love story/philosophical musing on art, Islam and globalism My Name is Red - which I'd love to read in the bathtub with a glass of wine and scented candles while listening Pandora's Turkish Traditional station playing (as long as the power holds out), but alas the bathtub is filled with reserve water. Ah, well.
Busy reassuring friends from out of town - who seem to be much more hysterical than people here in town - that we will somehow muddle through and be ok.
Lots of cooking and drinking. The only netflix I have on hand is The Battle of Chile Part II which is more than a bit dark for a hurricane and none of the streaming selections are impressing me .
Cuddling up with the boyfriend.
And awaiting the storm with curiosity, hoping that everyone stays safe.
wishing my broadwayworld pals take care

doctor who marathon on bbc america, then premiere at 9. this series (season) is very exciting so far.
Unfortunately, my plans for this weekend are the same as they were before any of this went down: grading final papers for the two summer classes I just finished teaching.
It wasn't going to be a very fun weekend to begin with! I do have lots of liquor, plenty of food, good friends who are camping out at my apartment, instant Netflix, a stack of books, and plenty of party games awaiting me once I'm finished with my real work.
