That WIZ revival is supposedly dead. I'm sure they'll get around to reviving it (though probably not with the Dodgers behind it seeing as how they are kaput) but maybe with WICKED being such a hit, its better to wait. Two OZ musicals on Broadway could have been a bit much. Love the show though.

I remember an article coming out last year about all the Oz musicals, mention the Wiz and The Boy From Oz, along with Wicked.

ahh! I just got home and heard about the news! I CANNOT believe it. I wonder why they would have to cancel the whole show? What a producing/publicity nightmare. I feel bad for Charlotte..she left Chicago to have this wonderful opportunity, and now she's out of a job! Wow..what a broken foot can do to an entire company.

I don't understand why they just can't postpone the opening till she gets better. Lots of shows postpone. Look at how long it took then to open Gem of the Ocean.
