What happened to UNCHAIN MY HEART?

I'm curious as to if anyone knows the fate of that announced Ray Charles musical UNCHAIN MY HEART. I still see they have a website and an official show-based Twitter, despite everything being dated for 2010.

I came across the website for this today and it says that a Shubert Theatre will be announced.

The lead dropped Scottsboro Boys for this, and then nothing materialized? Weird.

Yeah, I felt so bad for Brandon Victor Dixon. Then again, he knowingly dropped out of the lead in a Broadway show for which he was virtually guaranteed a Tony nomination for another show that was not completely set yet (although perhaps there were doubts about Scottsboro Boys actually opening on Broadway too?). That's showbiz I guess.

Reminds me of Heather Jane Rolff, who dropped out of the Les Miz tour after the first stop to play the lead in the production of Fat Pig that got cancelled two weeks before rehearsals were to start. At least Les Miz took her back a year later...

Brandon Victor Dixon was MAGNETIC at the Vineyard. Joshua Henry was quite good, but Brand Victor Dixon OWNED that part. I feel badly about the show not going anywhere, if only because it ultimately proved to be a poor move on Dixon's part.
