Gypsy(2003 Revival)
I especially like to listen to the cast recording and follow along with the script. Its so much more powerful!
Honestly, I really felt like the Man in Chair when I saw the Drowsy Chaperone. It was amazing how much theater fans can relate to this character.

That's a toughy because I usually have my iPod on the shuffle option.
But for a time, it was the current revival of Sweeney.
zoran912 - a pick me up with "Marie Christine" or "Parade"?????
my man in the chair cds are "Follies" and the revival of "42nd Street" and of course "On the Town"
Cabaret, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Avenue Q, Light in the Piazza.
I have a few: How to Succeed... (OBCR), Carnival!, The Fantasticks, and Bye Bye Birdie (OBCR). Wicked isn't so much a pick-me-up, but whenever I'm in an energetic mood I listen to that.

It changes all the time, (depends on what I'm obsessed with at the current moment) currently its a tie between Dreamgirls and The Wild Party. West Side Story also has that effect, simply because it's my favorite musical and the score is absolutely phenomenal.
Urinetown, Taboo, and King Herod's Song from JCS :-P
If they had a cast recording it would totally be Lennon!

1. Old Standby- "BARNUM"
2. New Favorite- "AVENUE Q"
3. Reliable Backup in case those don't do the trick- "EATING RAOUL"

I have to agree with "Two Gentlemen Of Verona." All of the songs are short and snappy; it's a total pick-me-up. It got me through many a boring day of work, and now it brings back memories of the great production at the Delacorte.

La Cage Aux Folles. That musical cheers me up when I'm feeling sad, and I love that musical because it's so cute. "The Best of Times" makes me feel better when I am sad.
definitely Hairspray right now, and for the past 10 months.
my other favs to listen to are Rent, Wicked, Millie, Les Mis, Crazy For You, and Avenue Q. Joseph is a really good picker-upper too actually.

"You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" never fails to pick me up!
Spelling Bee always has me smiling. All Shook Up is a good one too.
