re: What is Your Top Li

I don't know if it was the cast, but Oklahoma pretty much bored me to tears.

I hate Mamma Mia so much I am compelled to punch the nearest object when I think of it!
"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

Aida, Movin' Out (the majority of it), Sweet Smell of Success, Little Shop of Horrors (current revival).

re: re: re: re: re: What is Your Top Li

Musicals that I hate include:
-Hairspray
-Mamma Mia
-Grease
-Beauty and the Beast (the play, not the movie)
-Jekyll & Hyde
-The Scarlet Pimpernel
-Footloose
-Victor/Victoria
-Saturday Night Fever

all of these musicals are pure garbage

Musicals I don't hate but could live without:
-Anything Goes (could live without the show, not the music)
-Kiss Me, Kate
-Hair
-The Lion King
-Cats
-Aida

"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer

"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher

We Will Rock You
Oh What a Night
Saturday Night Fever (UK tour, the Broadway/West End was bearable)

And anything that makes you sing or get up and dance at the end. Except Taboo. Cos that was fun.

lol, I'm feeling the need to revive BroadwayGirl4Life. Don't faint dear, it's ok. I love Aida and Movin' Out, but they're definitely not for everyone - then again, is any show? - and everyone's entitled to their opinion.

no i mean like old old people. for some reason i can't see my 80 year old grandmother watching that. for some reason it seems to exciting and she might have a heart attach. (wow i put that mean)
