CATS!
The longest running Broadway musical of all time, and I allway have had pet cats and I love them, but I just didn't care for the show at all.
NEVER GONNA DANCE
I had high hopes for this show, and enjoyed it, but I'm sad it didn't do well. I have to agree though, that Nancy Lemenagers' singing was not nearly as good as the singer (I don't remember her name) on the sampler cd. Noah Racey was great as Lucky, and if you saw the "Swing Time" movie, Fred Astair is not that great a singer either.

FAME is officially the biggest piece of crap I have ever been part of. Seriously, a song about a boner?? That's why I don't listen to popular music, to get away from that kind of stuff!!

I agree. Horrible songs, horrible lyrics, horrible story, horrible acting. The song attempts were pathetic. I'll give them props for the dancing. But that's all.

Starlight Express, in London. This was the first professional production I ever saw and it's a wonder I still like musical theatre.

I'm not overly fond of Mamma Mia, Cats, Joseph..., Grease, or Phantom, but none of them are as frightening as Starlight Express.
