Okay me and my friends are coming to NYC next saturday and can see a show during the sat. matinee. We want to see Woman in White but were no sure if we should order tickets now for next week or if we should just wait and go to the box office righ ebfore the show. Were worried that it might sell out after it opens. Also if we cannot see WIW what is good thats worth seeing, we've seen Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Sweeney Todd. Anyone have any advice. Should we order tickets, by them at the bo before the show, or should we see something else.

Go see Altar Boyz. You can get rush tickets at the box office two hours before the show starts.

Oy, wickedfreak. Would ya stop promoting your fandom for one day, please?

Have you seen Blue Man Group?

Mayhaps you could see Avenue Q or Movin' Out?

I would suggest 100% not doing wicked lottory because its basically a lose-lost situation. Woman in White has advance rush seats but both shwoings are sold out for this upcoming saturday as I learned trying to get them. I would suggest other shows with really good rush policies that are easy to get but not sure what you would be interested in

We;ve seen Wicked and have tickets to it this february and we've seen Movin Out as well. As for Ave. Q I've listened to the soundtrack and it doesn't appeal to me. Is there any show on broadway thats really student friendly and were not wild about Hairspray. And what do you mean by the fact that WIW is sold out?

It's a cast recording, not a soundtrack...

...the only other show I can think of is Spelling Bee.

I mean that there are $25 woman in white seats that are advance rush spots, yet they are sold out for both shows on saturday so you would have to pay a full price for it. And I agree with G.G., spelling bee seems to be your only other best option for seeing a show. However, its standing room only, but its not bad, there isnt even an intermission(meaning its quite short).

If you can get into Blue Man Group, go. You should be able to get into Souvenir, which is excellent.

If those don't interest you, The Light in the Piazza is a must, and they usually have student tickets.

Since when does WIW have rush seats? When I went last week the box office guy said they didn't sell rush seats.
