Really hoping to see an accomplished production of Into the Woods. My picks would be Sweeney Todd and Gypsy - love Sondheim!

This was the second musical I ever saw in New York. I was in seventh or eighth grade. I haven't seen it since, and haven't listened to the OBCR in AGES. I used to all the time and I also used to play Sun and Moon on the piano all the time. I had, however, forgotten ALL ABOUT THIS SONG, which haunted me and was so beautiful. I had insomnia for awhile and I used to lay in bed and sing it to put myself to sleep. I LOVED this song so thank you for mentioning it. Makes me want to break out the OBCR and also makes me very excited for the revival. I still know the music so well from listening to it over and over and over but I barely remember the show.

I would agree with all of you. For me:
Kinky Boots, La Cage Aux Folles, Billy Elliot, Rent, Evita
In my very expert opinion, "Rachael Lily Rosenbloom (And Don't You Ever Forget It)" is the best musical. Ever.
After seeing Les Miserables in London last night, I'm having trouble making a case for any other musical.
(Except maybe Avenue Q)
