Posted: 8/25/04 at 12:17amWell, first we had Jenna Elfman, then Marissa Tormei, then Christina Applegate. Besides announcing leading women, have the producers made any progress???

Most of the main details of the revival have been settled for months. The pre-Broadway tour dates in Minneapolis, Chicago and Boston have been settled for some time and it opens on Broadway in April starring Christina Applegate directed by Walter Bobbie with choreography by Wayne Cilento.

Posted: 8/25/04 at 6:17amChris, you left out Jane Krakowski, who did a reading, though apparently there was friction between Krakowski and Charity author Neil Simon...

Krakowski had problems with the script and offered suggestions to Neil Simon about things she'd like him to rewrite.
Not a smart move.

Posted: 8/25/04 at 8:57amDoes anyone know if Wayne Cilento is going to recreat the Fosse choreography or make his own? I hope he doesnt ruin this show by making his own choreography.

Posted: 8/25/04 at 2:46pmI think he said he was going to leave "Big Spender" and "Rich Mans Frug" alone, and then use his own for the rest in Fosse style...God help us lol. You knows, his shows havent really called for a lot of choreography, maybe this is his chance to show us what he's really got...i hope so
