I know the outsiders are making their debut finally, but what other shows do you think should come to NY?
With some fine tuning, I’d like WHITE GIRL IN DANGER to have a crack at a limited run on Broadway and see how it would fare against more “traditional” Broadway fare.
It would need a theatre like the Hayes, Booth or the Music Box though. Not the Lyceum like ASL.
After going to London, I don’t like the Broadway rule that a theatre has to have 500 seats to qualify as “Broadway” when quite a few West End theatres are 350-450 and that would remove the problem of shows having to expand to fit larger theatres to the detriment of the production

Secret Life of Bees would be ideal for either the Booth after Kimberly or Circle after Etheridge

I mentioned this on another thread, but the new Suzan-Lori Parks play Sally & Tom will be part of the Public's upcoming season and having seen it when it was premiering at the Guthrie in Minneapolis I'd be interested in seeing how it would work on Broadway.

English. With or without the Pulitzer it deserves a bigger audience I think.
