My iPod just died. So, nothing.
I can tell you the worst song to work out to: Julie Andrew's singing the Camelot suite on her Lerner and Loew album. Every song is soooooooooo sloooooooooooooooow and it goes on for about 11 minutes. Yet it always seems to come up when I'm working out.

let's just put it this way, i have a 30gb ipod and 27gb of it contains cast recordings and solo cds/concerts of various people on broadway. my friends don't even bother to go through my ipod because they already know 99% of it is broadway related.
I'm one of 50 people left on earth who doesn't have or wants an iPod.
Here are the musicals I have:
~Wicked
~ Phantom of the Opera
~ Rent
And
~ Les Miserables
Everything I own! Which is a lot! Almost all musical theatre CD's!
Hmm...since I'm the cheap kid with the 2G nano, I filled the thing with 300 or so Broadway SONGS (not ALBUMS, SONGS) and 92 normal things.
I put the following recordings on my iPod:
-Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
-Godspell (the 2000 Off-Broadway one)
-Hairspray
-RENT
-See What I Wanna See
-The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
-We Will Rock You
-Wicked
-Random songs from Aida, Avenue Q, Forbidden Broadway, Dreamgirls, and Seussical
(keep in mind I DO have a few more recordings, but my iPod is nearly full and I have to wait until Dec. for the good ole normal iPod)

I have just about every cast recording from the last 2 years or so, and then some from a while back in my iPod.
The Wedding Singer is definitley my new cast recording while running, though.
I admit, most of the albums on my iPOD are Broadway albums, but I don't listen to them when I'm working out. I need something with a lot of adrenaline and energy like Black Eyed Peas or X-Tina.

I dont really need anything upbeat persay, I just like to listen to whatever I'm in the mood for. Whenever I sleep or workout I put my Ipod on my Top Rated shuffle which includes songs from Parade, Disney's On the Record, Chorus Line, Big, YAGMCB, Tick Tick Boom!, King David, Ave. Q, Honk!, Mary Poppins (movie and stage) Der Glockner von Notre Dame, Big River, The Producers, Cabaret, Rent, Disney stuff, Bway's Unsung Musicals, Little Shop, Swan Princess, Thumbelina, Pebble and the Penguin....I'm a big kid at heart! I love and collect rare recordings
Alas mine only holds 4 gb and I cant put all my recordings on there. It bothers me.
18.6GB of my 20GB is filled with cast recordings or the like.
I'm beginning to think I need to get another 20GB iPod and overhaul the two, dividing them into two mass libraries:
BEFORE 1980 and AFTER 1980

I don't have an iPod. I have a Nomad Zen Xtra Jukebox. I currently have over 680 albums, with over 12,000 songs on it. I still have room for another 3,000-4,000 songs. Included are every musical that I have ever seen (which was recorded) and dozens that I didn't see; operas, vocalists, christmas music; jazz and classical. It's nice not to have to choose CDs to take with me when I travel. Latest additions are Barbara Cook at the Met, the London revival of Sunday In The Park with George, and Dream True. The player is a little smaller than a package of cigarettes
Well...

I know this was on the first page, but I just want to say it also.
Everytime my friends are with me i'm contantly with my iPod, it's like a sibling to me. So one day my friend takes my iPod and starts reading off all of the artists and albums on my iPod.
She's like: "Who the hell is Norbert Leo Butz?!" Then she starts laughing: "Hahaha NORBERT. Who names a guy Norbert, and his last name is BUTZ? haha." Then my other friend takes the iPod and starts reading more people and albums off. (Right about now my face is so red I could be mistaken as a tomatoe) "What's Sweeney Todd?! I've never heard of them before, do they do concerts?!" Then she starts listening to A Little Priest. "EW, what is this?!" "Dani, your not normal. Go see a therapist, why don't you have NORMAL songs on here?"
People could be so cruel.
