One of the gay mags in Los Angeles is reporting that both Michael and Sean McDermott will be performing with Streisand in Europe this summer. Anyone else know about this?

As i said, I've read it and it reads on the page much more like a comedy than Gilmore Girls. I would liken it to David E. Kelly's stuff. Th character Arden plays would be working mostly with Posey and the role is a perfect fit for Posey! Posey at her Posiest!
ALSO, Dana Ivey is PERFECT for her role. She is only in the pilot minimally but it is clear she is a major force in the premise. Ambrose's character is also minimal in th pilot, but her relationship with Posey is clearly the atc of the series. I would call Arden's role third billing after Posey and Ambrose. Very exciting and this pilot has more buzz than most this year so the likeliehood of it being picked up is very good.

But will it last? Fox kills most of its show so quickly. I mean they have "The War at Home" and "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" Not exactly the best on television.

But they also have shows like 24 and House. And with recent attempts at hour long programming like The Wedding Bells, they are clearly hungry to get in the dramedy game.

Seriously just out of curiosity...
Is Michael gay? I read an interview back when he was in Bare about how important it is to accept the your own joy. So considering that he played a gay Catholic school boy, a promiscuous boy in love with a shark, and is writing Easter Rising, I would find it slightly ironic if he was closeted.

Alexander it matters how old you are just as much as it matters if Michael Arden is gay or not.

Michael is opening for Streisand show in Europe for about three months. Apparently she fired Il Divo. He will also do some numbers with her. First, he is shooting the pilot you mentioned.

His pilot, The Return of Jezebel James created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starring Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose, was picked up by FOX for next season. I'm sure we'll hear more about it next week during upfronts. Yay!

I also heard the show was picked up for 13 weeks and they start filming in NYC in August.

Yeah, Michael stays in New York for a while.
