I bet Little Dancer waits a season. I say it'll be Gigi or The Visit.
Another possibility is Charles III.

Posted: 11/3/14 at 9:12pmI bet it will be announced soon. I will not be surprised if Chita Rivera pays a visit to shake-up the Tony season before the cut-off.

Little Dancer needs some more work, from what I saw this past weekend. Good bones and some parts that are use beautiful, but it needs refining.
I'd love for Chita to give it another go with The Visit here or the announces revival of The Heidi Chronicles.

It won't be Hunchback for two reasons:
1. It's going to mounted at Papermill in the spring (unknown at this point if it's going to be the same production at La Jolla right now).
2. Disney has a GREAT business relationship with the Nederlanders.

I haven't seen LITTLE DANCER, but I think the Music Box is a little small for it, no? This is a big dance show with a 20 piece orchestra and a fairly large cast. Probably would need the Marquis or St. James or Nederlander or something like that. Same goes for GIGI. A play or a smaller musical like THE VISIT or DAMES AT SEA would be better for the Music Box.
By the way, on a somewhat unrelated topic: Do we know when the Marriott Marquis will be done with renovations? And are those renovations affecting (beautifying?) the theatre at all?

At last, at last
The old lady pays a visit
Let's welcome an old acquaintance who's home at long, long last.
Hopefully we will get an announcement soon!

Posted: 11/4/14 at 1:39amBest bet is on Charles III as it initially had the Jacobs before all this stuff with Only A Play extending started going on, id figure part of the deal was the shuberts giving them another theatre and that seems to be happening.
