"The Wiz"
I went back because the tornado blew me away and I just had to see it again.
Edit: Oh, and I went back a few times after that. Every time someone would come to New York to visit me, that's the show we would go to see.
In London it was "Phantom" because it blew me away the first time and I wanted to share the experience with my best friend !
On Broadway it was "Rent" because I loved it !
Little Shop, bbut it was completly inadvertant. I was supposed to take my friend for her birthday, but three weeks before I was with a friend from California and she wanted to see a show, and she picked Little Shop.
The first show I saw for a second time was The Lion King. I had gone with my family once; the second was a class trip.
The first show I saw a second time by choice was AIDA. From the moment I walked out the first time around, I knew I had to go back.... five times. There's no one thing that brought me back, other than that it was my favorite.
Broadway - RENT, on my first trip to NYC. My dad was like, "We NEVER left that street!" Hehe.

Like Emcee, mine is (well, will be) Lion King. I saw the tour with on a school trip, and I'm going again between Christmas and New Year's.
on bway: Rent
local: The music man
"I think it was the Korean tour or something. They were all frickin' asian!" -Zoran912
titanic.
I wanted my best friend to see it, I wanted to see it again and I wanted to sit closer for the act one finale.
Timote, it's happening again....

Mine was CATS. Saw it first on tour.
Then HAD to see it again on my first trip to NY.
Titanic - the first time was with family, second for a field trip.
It was either Les Miz or Aida.
Les Miz- Because my dad fell in love with the show and he wanted to see it again when it came to town. So, he asked me if I wanted to see it too...and I never pass an offer to see live theatre.
Aida- I first saw it in nyc, but then it came to town as part of the "Broadway in Chicago" series. So I kinda had to go...but I didn't mind at all.
Yes, I love Hunter a lot.
Miss Saigon for me. I saw it for my 7th birthday and then again for my 9th, and then again the summer before it closed, and then again the day it closed. I was pretty much obsessed with that show when I was a youngster.
Les MIserables, and I came back because it was an experience beyond description!

Miss Saigon!!!
i went back a total of 16 more times because
1) I love the music and story
2) I'm so proud of my fellow Filipinos and Asians performing on stage!
RENT.
A Chorus Line... I connected with the show and was also contemplating pursuing a career in the biz.
Rent. I saw it at a time when I was a wreck emotionally and spritually and had to force it all inside and cover it with a facade of strength. During the show I was able to actually cry (still do when I see it) and came away with a little bit of hope to face the upheaval in my life that I knew had to happen. So I went back. A few years later, a friend who I seen it with brought it up and just shook her head saying "Whatever possessed you to go see this show at that time in your life?

It was a tie for me (both happening the same week, a long, long time ago!)
"PHANTOM" (with Michael Crawford), and "BURN THIS" (missed the original cast, but saw all the other leads).

The Mikado. The cast was fabulous and I fell in love with Gilbert & Sullivan. Plus the actor playing Nanky Poo was so adorable.
The, the National Tour of Pirates of Penzance with Sal Viviano as Frederic. *swoon* My friends and I went the second time specifically to sit up close and watch him. Wow. Wow. Wow.

My father brought me to Phantom of the Opera a bunch of times because he loves the music so much.
On my own, the first show I remember seeing multiple times was Aspects of Love because I thought Marcus Lovett was hot. :P

Aida. Adam Pascal called out, and my absolute need at to see him perform at the time combined with my newly acquired adoration of Heather Headley and enjoyment of the show caused me to purchase tickets a few hours after I got home.
After that was Rent. Which beats all the other multiple viewings I've had with a handgun.
