I will (most likely) be going to NYC for the last weekend in October and I would like some suggestions of what to see!
I don't want to pay full price (Unless off Broadway) just discounts or lotto. I am open to anything...
Friday the 31st 8- I'm thinking Forbidden Broadway
Sat. the 1st- 2 shows here
Sun. the 2nd- 2 shows here too.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Seriously now
You should see Lion King and Wicked
Yes they are kids shows, but they are really good and worth seeing. It'll be the highlight of your trip. Go see those shows!
The best shows on Broadway right now (that aren't listed in what you've seen already) are BILLY ELLIOT and AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY. Do not miss either of them.
You should see Lion King and Wicked
Thanks but I have seen Lion King (And Hated it)and after hearing the cast recording to Wicked (Though I love his other shows) I have no desire in seeing that ether.
Neither...and no standing room either.
But there are $42 seats on sale on Telecharge for the last two rows of the theater and they are great seats...especially if you can get some in the three middle sections of the rear mezz (I believe they are sections 2, 3, and 4).
I actually could see better from my $42 second-to-last-row-seats than I could from my extreme side front row mezzanine seats.

"A Tale of Two Cities". Great show and you shouldn't have any trouble getting tix on a discount. Try to sit front mezz if you can.
Boeing-Boeing! ($20 box seats day-of)
Altar Boyz (off-Broadway, $26.50 seats day-of)
Oh, and Legally Blonde's actually a lot of fun. Nevermind...

I'm going to have to plug the Seagull and Speed-the-Plow... Both are amazing shows written by brilliant playwrights and starring incredible casts (and if I were in NYC anytime soon, these would be the shows I would see).
August: Osage County and Boeing-Boeing. Enjoy your time in the city!

A Tale of Two Cities..great collection of voices.
See Wicked.
Call ticketmaster.com and ask for partial view seat H27 or H28. They are both almost full view and cheap.
Kerry and Kendra are wonderful....see it!
