How about a short revival (Hugh Jackman's schedule permitting) of the arena version of THE BOY FROM OZ now playing in Australia -- but in a much larger venue? Maybe Radio City Music Hall or Madison Square Garden -- it does work very well with large venues.
I hope there is never a revival of Funny Girl. I mean, it's one of my favorite musicals, but no actress will ever be able to compare, or come anywhere close for that matter, to Barbra.
High Spirits
Parade
Ragtime
Funny Girl, with Idina Menzel starring as Fanny Brice! She would be fabulous!
Hahahahahahahahaha!!!
Wow, sorry...
I was waiting for somebody to say that.
:P
Jo,
theres already talk of "The boy from oz" being done at Radio City Hall....sometime late 2007.
I desperately want "My Fair Lady" to come back to Broadway...But, Rebecca Luker might be too old...DAMN.
"Funny Girl" could be great. Ana Gasteyar (or however you spell it) anyone?
My Fair Lady
Chess - using more of the london version
West Side Story
Ragtime
How did I neglect to list Chess? I would love to see a revised version of this show make it back to Broadway.
I would also LOVE for the London versions of Sunday in the Park with George and Evita to transfer, but those look pretty likely anyway.

Wonderful news, Rosscoe(Au)! Is this more recent buzz? Alterego, who also posts here, has also mentioned the possibility of a DVD.
I have seen the show in Sydney and it way exceeded my expectations, as I was a little unsure as to how the show ( which I had also seen on Broadway) would perform in large venues. Brilliant show and performances!

I'm confused.
Is the question, "What show do you want to see revived on Broadway?"
or
"Have there been any revivals that were better than there originals?"
Please clarify.
sorry. I'll clarify it.
Funny Girl (How about Stephanie J. Block post-Pirate Queen??)
Ragtime
She Loves Me (it could be off-bway and take ILY,YP,NC's place)

I don't think I will get much sleep tonight. I keep having these awful flashes where Idina shrieks and screams her way through "People". Yikes!
