What show should I see next?
#0What show should I see next?
Posted: 6/25/06 at 5:12pmOkay, I've seen all the show's I have been dying to see and there's nothing next on my list. I'm going with my grandpa to see a show on July 4th weekend. What would you reccomend? I don't really want to see a show I've seen before. Shows that I've seen that are still on Broadway are Phantom, The Producers, Chicago, Spelling Bee, Beauty and the Beast, Drowsy, Wedding Singer, Spamalot, Mamma Mia, and DRS. Any suggestions? Keep in mind I'm going with my Grandfather.

Yeah, but she just said that she saw Producers and DRS and does not want to see something she hasn't seen before.
I honestly can't think of anything at the moment...

Hairspray is good. Wicked is impossible to get tickets for. Especially when I'm seeing the show in a week. Jersey Boys could be a possiblity...The Producers I haven't seen in a while so I wouldn't really mind seeing that again. And DRS I just saw last week.

Posted: 6/25/06 at 5:37pmTry for Wicked, then Jersey Boys. If neither of those work out than I would suggest Hairspray.

Posted: 6/25/06 at 5:38pmGonna have to second Hairspray, Jersey Boys, and Wicked. Though, wouldn't it be difficult, at this point, to get tix to either Jersey Boys or Wicked? I'm sure her grandpa wouldn't want to lotto...

If you are going with our grandpa I would say Jersey Boys, but like Dirty Rotten Scoundrel said I think it will be hard to get tickets.

Posted: 6/25/06 at 8:02pmJersey Boys and Hairspray, two "best Musicals" accross the street from each other, either way, you can't go wrong. Both feature great oldies tunes. Gramps will love 'em, and so will you, and if you can work it out, see them both on a Wednesday or Saturday and have a nice steak dinner at Gallaghers in between.
So what...I sing

Posted: 6/25/06 at 8:12pmI don't think Jersey Boys tickets will be available anytime soon. I tried getting them for a week in August and none were to be found.
