I went to a high school of the performing Arts, and we usually did 4 shows a year, not counting the dance and music concerts, which I was also in. So, here it is:
Freshman year:
Quilters (Various male roles)
My Fair Lady (Lord Boxington & Ensemble)
Sophomore Year:
Into the Woods (Male understudy, and when Cinderella's Father did not show up for the first performance, i was told, at the last minute, to get into costume, thus the part became mine)
Dreamgirls (was cast as Dave, but had to drop out due to getting a job.)
Junior Year:
The Odd Couple - Female version (Jesus)
The Me Nobody Knows (Carlos)
Carnival (Roustabout #1)
Senior Year:
The Rainmaker (Noah Curry)
The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon)
The Rite of Spring (Le Sacre du Printemps by Igor Stravinsky - a modern ballet)
Big River (Tom Sawyer)
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
