What songs should I download from Everyday Rapture?

Hey gang, I love Sherie's version of Up The Ladder To The Roof-what are some of the must have songs off the disc.

I bought her first CD and really disliked most of her song selections-she's pretty varied and eclectic in her taste, so I am hesitant to buy the whole Rapture disc, unless you tell me the majority of tracks are gems.

So give me your thoughts and if there is a consensus, Ill download those songs. Thanks.

I had some of the same feelings about Sherie's first CD, but actually like the entire Everyday Rapture cast album. I won an autographed copy from Sh-K-Boom's Facebook, and am so glad I entered. :] Standouts for me are the first 5 songs and Up The Ladder. I suggest getting the whole cast recording. Have you listened to previews on Amazon or iTunes?

Def. The Weight. Really though this is an instance where, in my opinion, every track is great. However, the songs will seem strange out of context. I bought it before I saw the show and only listened to it once, but since I've seen the show I have listened to the cast album a lot.

I think that the three tracks, I Guess the Lord Must Be in New York City, Life Line, and The Weight are excellent together.

But her version of The Weight is divine.

I definitely agree that you should get the whole album. But if not, I would add to the list of "musts" Elevation.

Smart. But if I had to choose, my three favorites are "I Guess the Lord Must Be in New York City", "Lifeline" and "The Weight" (though I do love "Rainbow Sleeves", too..).

I just got the CD. It is exceptional. Thanks for the advice. This is 1,000 times more enjoyable than her solo CD. I'm really sad I can't see the show-the music is very moving. I love Sherie's voice.
