I was able to snag a few Hamilton tickets for next July (2017). I saw today that Anastasia tickets have gone on sale. Should I buy these now? Will they be a hot commodity ticket (difficult to buy later) for next July? I

ANASTASIA a hot ticket? I think it's safe to assume it won't be. I feel this musical will be another TUCK EVERLASTING and that type of musical that's a hit-or-miss with audiences. Another GIGI as well.

Thanks for the info. I like to plan ahead for my yearly trip to NYC. I think I may purchase a few Hello Dolly tickets. I love Bette Midler, but my 25 year old daughter probably isn't very familiar with her. She wants to see Dear Evan Hansen - more relatable for her. These three may be a nice, diverse choice.

While there is always the potential for failure...I doubt this will go the way of TUCK. Name recognition alone is MUCH higher.

The writing team of TUCK was also made of rookies. ANASTASIA not so much.

Agreed. Those who loved the animated film back in the late 90s would go watch Anastasia. It will probably be more like Aladdin but who knows.
