Gaveston's advice is spot on re: callbacks.
this is community theater, yes? How you dress isn't going to be a huge deal, and most folks are likely showing up in whatever they wore that day. ANYTHING you do to grab attention is a plus.
Dress in something comfortable but "nice" -- you are, after all, going to a job interview. If what you choose isn't something you can dance in, make sure you bring something you can EASILY and quickly change into. (like if you wear a nice tshirt and a skirt, you could quickly slide dance pants or shorts on and only have to remove your skirt.)
(How do auditions NOT matter just because everyone gets in to your school musical? It still affect WHO gets roles vs chorus and which roles they get. And even more importantly from YOUR point of view, each audition you do gives you practice for the next one.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
