I like Rent, but I have absolutely no desire to go to the final performance with a thousand screaming, fanatic Rentheads. I'm still on the fence about seeing it in theaters.

What I'd pay for a normal performance, which means a discount or mezz ticket.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

$525,600. Is it even worth that much? LOL! And just to note, I am totally kidding. I would not pay above what the tickets normally go for, since I know most people who bought them through the box office or telecharge probably did not pay more than that. Yes, it is a long running show, but ticket prices do not need to go up for that reason alone.

Frankly, with all the screaming rentheads that'll be there, you couldn't even pay me to go. I saw the final performance of A Chorus Line, which was amazing yet I still enjoyed the show itself. But I think the entire final performance of Rent will be nothing but screaming the entire time, which would make the performance itself terrible.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
