Can anyone think of ideas, books, or movies that would make sensational Broadway plays and ones that would make Broadway look like crap? I don't have any at the moment...that I can think of right off the bat. Do you?

I have this idea for a show about a Stephanie J. Block fan who won't wash her hair or clothes and makes a lot of funny youtube videos.
It's a one woman show, only she sings. It would be sensational and would not make Broadway look like crap.

Posted: 11/7/09 at 11:50pmI think this is ridiculous. It bothers me so much when people judge a show before it even starts. You haven't seen it so so there is no way of telling if a show is a piece of crap or not.

Posted: 11/7/09 at 11:52pmWhat show is being judged before it opens? What actual show was even discussed here?

Posted: 11/7/09 at 11:53pmI'm thinking of songs she could sing such as: "It rules", "You Don't Know What You're Talking About", "My Very Stretchy Pink Popular Pants", "Me Singing", "My Blue Man Group Flyer" and a huge first act finale "Borderline Obsessive".

And the Act Two opener - "My fliers and Me"

Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:15amI have this Broadway sensation that a kid named...blaxx treats this other kid like an asshole and is being a jerk to him...then a guy name Jordan Catalano joins in and karma kicks there stupid ass and slaughters them with knives and sharp objects! The finale song can be..."Me and Intestines!"

#10re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:21amOh no it's called "Intestine Mixup" XD Now that's the best!
#11re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:23amFinally the Hilton will have a hit!
#12re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:23amSo it's not called "Me and Intestines" anymore. Now it's "Intestine Mixup". The rewrites are killing me already!

Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:24amYes...yes it is!
#14re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:25amI picture "Intestine Mixup" as a real 1930's Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers number with Blaxx & Myself on a set similar to when they took Annie to the movies.
#15re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:30amBut, what intestine is Stephanie J. Block playing?
#16re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:33amWell she hasn't won a Tony yet, so I'm going to say the small one.
#17re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:34amNone, because she's not in it...she is not even buying a ticket because unlike you. She has a heart. Why do you think I'm obsessed with Stephanie J Block? I'm just a fan. God, people!
#18re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:36amWell, excuse me! But if she played the Pirate Queen she could CERTAINLY play the small intestine.

She's going to be in it because she needs work and I'm offering her the role of a small intestine. She can sing and dance and play the same part she's played for the past 3 shows so she won't need much rehearsal time which is good since she's also going to be guest starring on a Discovery channel show playing a kidney.
(I smell an Emmy!)
#20re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:38amNo. I don't think she or ANYONE would be comfortable with playing an intestine of a graphic slaughter scene.

Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:40amShoshana Bean might be.
#22re: What would be the best/worse shows to come to Broadway?
Posted: 11/8/09 at 12:40amToo late. And I'm also casting Idina Menzel as her standby. And the score will consist of Stephen Schwartz farts.

Oh I forgot about Idina. She definitely needs a job (other than the one we call blow) and could fill the Hilton theater 8 times a week for a year just on her name alone.
BTW, does anyone think she'll be in the Wicked movie?
