2005. Her performance in Light in the Piazza is one I will treasure forever. I think Mueller deserved to win last year.

For PIAZZA and last year for BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY.
I'd be happy if she won this year, too. She deserves it more than that other blonde chick who's going to win.

Her strongest performance was for Bridges, but Jessie Mueller should have won and did win.

Disagree re O Hara vs Mueller but it is what it is and what it is is history which cannot be changed

I would have voted for O'Hara in 2005. Sara Ramirez did a parlor trick, not a performance. O'Hara was radiant in PIAZZA.

I always find her work deserving of accolades.
My favorite of her Broadway performances, of those I seen, was Nellie in South Pacific. Perfection.

No doubt Kelli should've taken the Tony for THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA. I guess a lot of elements & variables factor in -- revisionist history is easy almost a decade later. Glad she finally won last night & I don't think the "overdue" factor was necessarily strong...she won on her merits for this performance.

2005.
Her performance in Piazza had me walking on air for weeks. While I was rooting for Chenoweth last evening, I am so happy that the most consistently employed actress on Broadway these days finally got her Tony. And you cannot begrudge her that win with a speech like that.
