Yupp, pretty much to sum up what everyone else said: Linda is touring; she got bad notices from a lot of people for her acting skills in Jekyll & HYDE (which she was not terrible?); To top it off, Linda was really pretty exclusive to composer Frank Wildhorn, and since they split she has been released from all of those projects -- only staying with one: Camille Claudel. Unfortunately, Camille has been produced two/three times (2003 & 2005), and pretty much looks like no plans for a Broadway run, especially with some of the songs...I can't imagine anyone else BUT Linda in that role. Too bad

! Also, it was Frank who really got her into musicals -- she always had thought after StarSearch she'd be a mini-pop star or something to that extent!
She has often said she would love to do some sort of concert-version (Is this what Broadway Backwards does?) of Man of La Mancha with her in the title role

! She is very dedicated to be a good mother to her (& Frank's) son, and if you attend one of her concerts, she's very personal with the audience and you will see that she is absolutely happy with getting to sing 3 shows a weekend occasionally as opposed to throwing away her current life to do 8-shows a week and risk missing things..! I personally applaud her for that...but would LOVE to see her back on B'way someday!
