Where are the Erich Bergen fans?

I thought 'Chicago' would have a good week with Erich joining the show.

Maybe, I overestimated his fan base. I spotted Shoshana Bean in the audience on Monday. He was good in the show but I'm not sure people in the audience knew who he was. 

Did Erich do good business when he went into 'Waitress?'

I do not know if Erich helped sales when he was in Waitress, but I saw him in Waitress and he was amazing.  I would love to see him another show, but I have seen Chicago and I do not like it, so I am not willing to pay money to not enjoy the show.  I hope that I can see him in something else in the future.

I have no idea who he is AND I’m savvy to Broadway for about 40 plus years.  That says a lot right there.

I definitely second this because I think he also came back when Jennifer Nettles was in the cast in 2021.

I saw him in Waitress with Jennifer Nettles and thought he was very charismatic. I didn't select the show because he was in it though. I was more curious to see Jennifer. Is he a big enough draw for any particular show? I don't think so. But if I was a tourist with little Broadway knowledge and deciding which show to purchase at TKTS, I might go "hey, I recognize him" and select Chicago for that reason. 

I had a similar experience YEARS ago, long before I was a NYC regular and did just that twice!  Chose Adams Family for Bebe Neuwirth & Sweet Charity for Christina Applegate. I enjoyed Sweet Charity but regret choosing the Adams Family over Catch Me If You Can to this day.
