Where's Franz (Tom Lenk) ?

Got a discount offer from Broadway World for Rock of Ages today, but noticed Franz missing from the picture.

Hmm...having trouble creating a link to the picture. It's titled Give the gift of Rock and it's a group shot....

I love making fun of Tom Lenk on the internet for the high probability of him actually reading it.

I'm still mad at him for icing Jonathan on BtVS.

I got that discount offer too.... what is weird is that it is a publicity photo! It seems odd that an actor would be MIA from a group shot like that (it's the picture from the end of Act I BTW- the "Jazz Hands" Moment) I wonder what is going on there....

I think (I could be wrong) that this is one of the promo shots they did when don stephenson was still hertz. I think when they photoshopped Paul Schoffler in they may have accidentally left out Lenk

Some of those publicity shots are taken during hours when not every cast member is able to be there. Perhaps that's what happened, who knows? Not that important, really.

Those shots are NEW. They were taken just a bit ago, and cover the front of the Brooks. Not a single Lenk picture is anywere around that theater, and that is his choice.

And, to answer Dolly_Levi, no.

I am sad to hear that, JP2.

Of course, I do not know him, but I enjoyed his talents on Buffy and in the show and in interviews he seemed sweet and quite likeable.

Is he unhappy in ROA? NYC?

Tom has mentioned via twitter about how awful he thought those pictures of him are. Maybe that's why he didn't want to be in the new group shot, and didn't want any pictures of him on the theater doors.

When Wes Franz, he was superimposed on that picture and it looked ridiculous. Based on their positions he'd be there but depending upon the angle the picture was taken at it may be hard to see him.

I never claimed that he is not a nice person, for all I know he could be the sweetest kitten-loving, rainforest-saving, baby-kissing person to grace the earth, but I don't know.
All I said was when I encountered him briefly, at theat time, he seemed arrogant.
