Obviously Anika Noni Rose. Considering she's the only lead actor with major stage credits (and a Tony award) in the film version of a legendary Broadway musical, I really don't think it's off topic. Who really cares anyway? I never go the the off topic board.

Anika is currently in Australia filming the TV mini-series STARTER WIFE.

She will be in Los Angeles for the Academy Awards, though.

Plus, it's also very expensive to attend the Awards if you're not nominated. Tix to sit w/ Beyonce & Jennifer Hudson could have run her $4000. And though I'm sure she's rolling in dough from Dreamgirls, she might want to save her cash for her ticket to the Oscars.

According to this seating arrangement in an article by a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press, Anika was in table 14, different from the Dreamgirls table 9.
