Alright, hi :) I'm Will, and I don't live in NYC, so all I have are the national tours.
And, Wicked and The Wedding Singer are coming to Richmond! But I only really have the money to see one show and bring along some friends. Any opinions on the national tour of any?
And yes I know that there are two national tours of Wicked but I have no idea which one is playing at the Landmark Theatre in Richmond.
If you haven't seen either, go to Wicked.

I would see Wicked. I believe that the second national tour will be in Richmond, but I'm not sure.
another vote for wicked. it will give you more bang for your buck, i would say. i also believe the second tour is hitting richmond.
oops double post
more oopsies my bad kiddos
This is another vote for Wicked. I don't know why The Wedding Singer is going to the Landmark instead of Carpenter Theater, but it'll get swallowed up.

I vote for Wedding Singer. It's a really great production and i've seen it about 8 times. Wicked will be around for a long time and im sure it will be near you again with a year or two
I agree with born2bebroadway. the wedding singer is such a fun show
Between the two, I'd say Wicked, but I liked the Wedding Singer as well, and Wicked is going to be around much longer. So for that reason only, I'd say go with the Wedding Singer.

If you have to choose, I'd say Wicked, but if you have the time and live close enough, you could possibly see Wicked for only $25 if you want to take a chance and lotto for the tickets. You might have to go repeatedly, but likely you would eventually win. Take a friend and both of you lotto for 2 tickets to increase your chances. I don't know if the Wedding Singer has a lottery but Wicked definitely does.

Hey everyone!
I went to see In The Heights (hip hop musical) last summer in New York, and I never thought I'd be able to see it again. Well, it seems it going to be in Atlanta (my hometown) very very soon! Please click here to vote for me to win tickets. I can't afford to buy them. Thanks so so so much!

Yes it's the second tour that will be playing Richmond.
Tour 2
I'm going to have to vote for Wedding Singer as well. Wicked is still on Broadway and will be touring for years to come. You'll have many more chances to see the show as opposed to Wedding Singer.

If you saw neither, then see Wicked. If you want to see both then try to have you and your friends do the Lotto.
