So it's looking like I'll only be able to see two of: Betrayal, The Great Society, and The Rose Tattoo. Which two appear to be the ones to see?

I try to avoid reading anything about new plays before I see them, which is why I'm asking you all, rather than doing my own research. Also, no spoilers please!

Skip The Rose Tattoo.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

There are few shows on which this board is in almost unanimous agreement. The Rose Tattoo however, appears to be one of them.

Betrayal and The Great Society. The Rose Tattoo is atrocious.

I've only seen Betrayal and while I thought there was something missing in the story, the overall acting was superb so worth seeing in my opinion.

I saw The Great Society over the weekend and enjoyed it. It's a solid play. I've seen previous revivals of Betrayal and The Rose Tattoo and would select Betrayal over Rose Tattoo based on those experiences, and given word on the street, the current revival of Betrayal is much better than the current revival of Rose Tattoo.

Sadly, this is true. Skip the Tattoo - you won't regret the decision.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
